Wedding Ideas: Table centrepieces

As we know, weddings come in all shapes and sizes- huge parties to intimate gatherings, wedlock in the setting of rolling countryside hills, or in the local town church. Throughout the years, we’ve been helping the bride and groom feel special with wedding wish lanterns to release at the end of the end of the night, allowing guests to make wishes for the happy couple and watch them float away in the dark. Of course, wedding wish lanterns are not the only way you can make your special day extra memorable; in our new blog series, we look at ways in which you can make your guests’ jaws drop with envy and surprise.
The table centrepieces at your reception can be a bone on contention; do you choose flowers or an ornament, colourful, in line with your wedding scheme, or neutral so that it doesn’t dominate the space? One way to eliviate this dilemma is to ask your guests to provide a centre piece for their table. Who knows what they’ll come up with (a marble run? A vase of flowers? A model of the Tower of Pisa), and they will feel instantly more involved with your day.
If you’ve had a better special idea for your wedding day, or indeed had extraordinary centrepieces on your tables, please do get in touch- we love to hear your stories and see your photos.
